We're deeply inspired by the relaxed summer vibes in this gorgeous house.

The remarkable use of reclaimed rustic wood, simple plastered walls (our obsession), concrete floors and a white & neutral palette with the use of natural elements has created a serene & incredibly cozy environment. 

You typically see this in warmer climate but don't you think we need it most because of our long, dark winter days?

We love using natural elements like wood, clay, rattan, straw and organic textile to promote this aesthetic.

Cucumbi is a family-owned property located at a village called Barrancão in Portugal. The family decided to turn the house into a stylish boutique hotel in a hope that it could contribute positively to the village, people and environment.

Their motto is "keep it simple, keep it organic"
